About my blog

I established The Purple Pumpkin Blog in November 2011. I'm a London/Essex based, self-employed married mother with a teenage son.

Over the years my blog has evolved into a creative lifestyle blog.I write about things I create: seasonal crafts, printables, photographs, and recipes; and my lifestyle, including home, family, celebrations, and travel. I write visually appealing and informative blog posts on an array of topics that keep my loyal readers coming back for more and attracting new readers on a daily basis through my social media influence. My tag line is COOK • CREATE • CELEBRATE

My [UK, US, ROW] audience is predominately female in the 25-45 age group, with the top 3 interests of food & drink, home decor, and shopping.

About me

Hi, I’m Michelle – a 40 year old wife, mum, and blogger from London.

I started my blog in 2011 as a party planning blog, but it has evolved over the years into a creative lifestyle blog. It gives me the opportunity to be creative, share my ideas, and inspire others to try them at home. My blog is my full time gig these days, after working as a self-employed website designer for 10 years.

I put my heart and soul into my blog, and very proud of the collaborations with brands I've had over the years, as well as the nominations for blogging awards; including being a finalist in the UK Blog Awards twice.

Location:   Greater London

Testimonials

We worked with Michelle on a destination content project for one of our most prestigious clients, Emirates, and she was a pleasure to do business with. Both her work and approach were professional, efficient and on brief, we couldn't recommend her highly enough
