Soloist, 1 person backpacking tent

£129.99

The Soloist is a lightweight, compact and stable backpacking tent with plenty of head room for multi-day wilderness adventures or extended bike tours. Now available in a longer length option.

Low weight and compact pack-size for backpacking/bikepacking Tall enough to sit up in and comfortable over multiple days Stable and free-standing single pole structure that’s quick to pitch

The Soloist uses lightweight fabrics and short pole sections to create a compact package weighing just 1.2kg (1.3kg for the XL) and packing down to the size of a bottle of wine. This allows you to keep your overall pack-size down, makes it easier to stow on your bike, and keeps your luggage weight low and your enjoyment levels high on multi-day trips.

Pitching inner-first with a single hubbed pole, the Soloist XL is quick and easy to pitch for one person. The self-supporting semi-geodesic structure is stable in bad weather and allows the tent to pitched pretty much anywhere with just 6 pegs.

Multiple pitching options give you the versatility to pitch with just the flysheet and footprint together (in insect free regions) or just the inner tent (insect-heavy but dry), potentially saving even more weight when the conditions allow.

‘Liveable space’ becomes ever more important with each passing day of a backpacking/bikepacking trip. Stretching the length of the tent, the pre-bent single pole significantly increases the useable space inside the tent. Unlike many backpacking tents this gives you enough room to sit up, get changed or lie and read on wet mornings.

The porch is large enough for muddy boots and a rucksack and there’s a hanging loop for your headtorch or Lampray.
