An Evening With an Arabic Coffee Expert on the Art of Hospitality at Kutubna Cultural Center
The Kutubna Cultural Center, comprising of a bookshop, art gallery and cafe, will be hosting interactive sessions pertaining to the five senses with a focus on certain aspects of Emirati culture and heritage. On December 5 at 7:30PM, a session, based on the sense of taste, will be devoted to Arabic coffee, hosted by coffee specialist Medina Ilyas. “Through fascinating history, engaging storytelling and expert insights, Medina reveals the traditions, techniques, and flavours that make this beverage a cherished emblem of Arab hospitality and community,” reads a statement published by Kutubna. Later on in the month, sessions of 'sight' (led by Emirati photographer and typographer Hussain AlMoosawi) and 'smell' (led by bukhoor expert Mike Metzger) will also be taking place on December 12 and 19, respectively. @kutubnadubai; @medina.coffee
