Our Katharina chapan is an exclusive garment manufactured in traditional Uzbek IKAT weaving technique. A characteristic of ikat textiles is an apparent "blurriness" to the design, which makes the collection intriguing.

Every coat differs from the other, as the natural colours can change their tone with every inch of weaving. Each chapan is made from a blend of the highest quality cottons and silks specifically designed and created for this collection.

The outer material is 50% silk, 50% cotton - this blend gives the garments its defined, yet light silhouette. The lining is 100% silk - adapting to your body temperature, this fabric is the ultimate companion to feel safe & secure within.
