History Heroes: SCIENTISTS card game

The aim of the game is to try and win the cards by guessing who the characters are from the facts read out from the cards. Players can play the games as a gentle voyage of discovery or a competitive game by choosing easy, hard or quirky facts from each card. Win the cards by guessing correctly who the character is from the facts read out on their cards. The winner is the person with the most cards at the end of the game, just the same as card games like Top Trumps.

History Heroes SCIENTISTS is a fun science game and a great way to discover the greatest scientists throughout history and the science they introduced to the world.

Our pack of Scientists contains individual cards of History Heroes’ forty greatest Scientist heroes. Each scientist’s quiz card is fantastically illustrated to represent the individual Scientist Hero and shows the scientist’s dates, their flag of birthplace and seven gripping facts about them, including a joker fact about each scientist to surprise and/or entertain.

Our Scientist Heroes range from first century BCE scientists, such as Archimedes, to game-changing Nobel prize winners from the present day, such as Jennifer Doudna and Emanuelle Charpentier and their amazing gene-editing technology. The game includes so many scientists, whose work was revolutionary at the time, such as Copernicus, Galileo, Sir Isaac Newton, Robert Boyle and Bunsen. Jenner, Darwin and Curie are in the game too along with so many other great scientists, such as Grace Hopper, Rontgen, Rutherford, Joliot-Curie, Hodgkin, Franklin and Hawking.
