Vena Jain

Vena is an emerging leader in water and sustainable development.

Growing up in Northern India, where water scarcity was a daily reality, she was inspired to pursue engineering solutions to global water challenges. She holds an MSc from the IHE Delft Institute for Water Education and an MEng in Chemical Engineering from the University of Bath, equipping her with a strong foundation in innovative water treatment solutions.

Now at Salinity Solutions—a water technology disruptor—Vena is applying her expertise to tackle one of the world’s most pressing environmental issues: clean water access. Her work ranges from researching PFAS removal in reverse osmosis systems to pioneering innovative approaches in wastewater resource recovery and managing emerging contaminants. In her current role, she is analysing water quality parameters and pushing the boundaries of sustainable water treatment technologies.
