Dolce&Gabbana Velvet Infusion celebrates the harmonious encounter between Italian and Asian cultures. Crafted as an homage to one of Asia’s most precious gifts to the West: Tea, which was first imported into Italy in the XVII century. A citrusy woody fragrance capturing the essence of a crossroad where Black Tea meets luminous Italian Citruses. Chinese American perfumer Alex Lee, with his innate ability to navigate these two cultures, has masterfully blended earthy Black Tea leaves with the sparkling essence of Italian Mandarin and Bergamot, topped with a hint of fusing Pink Pepper. The fragrance continues to unfold with a textured and comforting Cedarwood and Mate base, reminiscent of infinite Asian and Italian landscapes. The result is a harmonious fusion of aromas, where the earthiness of tea leaves intertwines seamlessly with the zesty and citrusy notes, creating a modern sensorial experience that transcends traditions and backgrounds.
