Obu is an angel investment platform which connects eligible female-founded businesses with angel investors, both women and allies, who believe their capital, wisdom, network and cheerleading can create a more equal, progressive, innovative start-up ecosystem.
Obu is founded in Nottingham by Sarah King and Claire Dunn, formerly of We are Radikl, whose campaign #overbeingunderfunded succeeded in changing the UK government’s SEIS scheme in 2021 to make it more accessible to female business founders.
