TCG Trailblazer Lisa Ortiz Joins the London Card Show Lineup

One of anime’s most beloved and enduring voice talents, Lisa Ortiz will be joining the London Card Show as a special guest at its upcoming August show. A true legend in the world of English-dubbed anime and video games, Lisa’s voice has shaped the childhoods of millions, and her appearance is a rare opportunity to connect with one of the voices behind some of the most famous anime series of all time. 

With a career spanning over two decades, Lisa is best known for bringing to life some of pop culture’s most iconic characters. From Sabrina, Flannery, and Agatha in Pokémon, Amy Rose in Sonic X and the Sonic the Hedgehog games (2005–2010), to Serenity Wheeler in Yu-Gi-Oh!, or fan favourites like Tony Tony Chopper in Once Piece and Musa and Icy in Winx Club, her distinctive voice has reached across generations of fandoms. 

Lisa also voiced Lina Inverse in the classic fantasy series Slayers and Tao Jun in Shaman King, cementing her place in anime history. Beyond her voice acting, Lisa is a celebrated voice director and creative force behind numerous English-language anime localisations including the Pokémon series.  

Attendees of the London Card Show can look forward to meeting Lisa Ortiz for signings, panel appearances, and a deep dive into the worlds of anime, gaming, and voice acting.
