New Surface Latch from Codelocks delivers effortless surface-mounted access control for gates and fences

Enschede, NL, 06 March 2025 - Codelocks is expanding its Gate Solutions by Codelocks range with the introduction of the new Codelocks’ Surface Latch. This highly versatile self-locking, surface mount latch is designed for effortless installation on light-duty gates where traditional mortice latches are not an option.

At Codelocks, we've taken a practical approach with the new Surface Latch. It's a straightforward, self-locking solution that's remarkably simple to install. The applications are quite diverse: from side gates accessing shared residential gardens or utility spaces, to private parking areas and driveways, and even extending to modest industrial or agricultural facilities.”

 The Surface Latch has a simple, surface mount installation and is non-handed, making it suitable for left- and right-handed and in-swing gates of between 35mm to 60mm thickness. It also works seamlessly with locks from Codelocks’ mechanical and electronic ranges, giving customers the reassurance of Codelocks’ high-performance and reliability. 

Codelocks’ Surface Latch comes in two finishes: Marine Grade Black and Brushed Steel, giving it an unobtrusive look and suitability for a range of external applications.
