More than 70 business owners attended a unique event showcasing the best of Wakefield’s businesses at a unique event last week.
2-Work hosted the event dubbed ‘Ey Up Wakefield’ on Thursday 11th July where guests were welcomed to Tileyard North’s historic mill and enjoyed food, drink, networking and a chance to visit dozens of local businesses as they promoted their products and services.
Attendees enjoyed tours of the building and talks from 2-Work’s co-founder and director, Gal Leslie who was joined by Claire Sutherley, managing director for We Are Wakefield who spoke about the power of networking.
Gurpreet Singh Bansal, business support officer for Wakefield First and Keith Evans, Ad:Venture business manager for Wakefield Council also spoke about the support available for businesses across the district.
Set within the iconic Rutland Mills development and adjacent to the famous Hepworth Gallery in Wakefield, 2-Work at Tileyard North recently opened its doors, offering coworking and private office space for businesses across Wakefield.
