Natural Life is a new eco-friendly housewares brand launched by Tower, developed to help consumers lead a more sustainable life. The initial launch, Natural Life Home Utility, introduces eco-friendly cleaning products to the UK housewares market, making it easier for everyone to make positive changes in the home.
As effects of climate change become an increasingly prominent global issue, many brands, retailers and consumers are recognising the importance of reducing environmental impact in everyday life. Natural Life has been developed to support this mission for change, providing sustainable alternatives to single-use plastics while contributing to offsetting carbon emissions.
The brand has collaborated with the WeForest organisation, pledging to donate 2% of profits from each sale to drive the restoration of forests across the globe. Trees are a vital, natural solution to combat climate change by removing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere. Planting trees helps preserve wildlife while improving climate conditions in the long-term.
Natural Life also commits to positive change by utilising more natural and recyclable materials that are free from throwaway plastics. Materials have been carefully considered by the product development team, with production processes limited wherever possible to ensure the product and packaging have minimal impact on the environment, from manufacture through to disposal.
Home Utility products from Natural Life include dustpans and brushes, fantail dish brushes, sheep’s wool dusters, pot scrubbing brushes and floor scrubbing brushes. The Beech Handled Homecare Set provides consumers with exceptional value, bundling in multiple products from the range to create the perfect all-in-one utility set for home cleaning.
The product and packaging materials have been responsibly selected throughout the range; many materials are fully biodegradable such as beech wood, and those that are not can be recycled and repurposed numerous times such as steel.
Natural Life packaging is printed with natural soy-based inks, while the carton boxes feature recyclable and compostable paper tape seals so no harmful waste is left behind. This attention to detail provides reassurance to consumers and retailers, ensuring that they are supporting truly environmentally-friendly products that make a difference.
The brush bristles and wool materials are naturally sourced from horses and lambs during their grooming season in summer, ensuring no animals are harmed in the process. Horsehair is naturally strong, creating a long-lasting finished product, while lamb’s wool naturally produces static electricity to attract dust particles and amplify cleaning ability.
The dustpans have been constructed using recyclable steel that offers longevity for cleaning and causes no detrimental effect to soil, groundwater or the local ecosystem should the material find its way to landfill or disposal sites. Renewable materials such as Tampico and hemp are also implemented into some of the brush bristles and hanging ties due to their excellent cleaning chemical resilience and eco-friendly growth properties.
Natural Life is committed to working with retailers to supply sustainable alternatives for more consumers across the UK. The brand is continuing to drive change into 2022/23 with eco-friendly Storage collections to support consumers on their journey to reduce waste and live a more sustainable life.
The Natural Life Home Utility range is available now from rkwltd.com, joining the UK’s biggest housewares and electrical brands including Tower, Barbary & Oak, BLACK+DECKER and SMEG.
