RKW, the UK’s leading SDA company, has announced the addition of three new staff members to aid their goals for exponential growth.

Based in the heart of Stoke-on-Trent, housewares and small domestic appliance giant RKW has recently welcomed a number of new staff members to the company.

As part of an ambitious bid to continue the exponential growth of the company and ensure high quality products remain at the heart of the business, a number of experienced names have joined the Finance and Quality Assurance departments to maintain the company’s 30+ year success as a market leader.

Andrew Chatfield has joined the company, bringing more than 20 years of experience in consumer electronics, SDA and cookware to the RKW finance department as Group Financial Director. Andrew gained his professional qualifications whilst working in offshore financial services before joining Fujifilm to become the functional lead for SAP projects and then progressing through the ranks. In 2010 he moved to Groupe SEB as Finance Director for the UK and Ireland where he gained a wealth of industry and senior managerial experience covering Finance, Legal and IT. Following 12 years in the role, Andrew is now dedicated to helping revolutionise and transform financial operations at RKW.

Paul Parsons, once of Morphy Richards, joined RKW as the new Head of Quality Assurance, bringing years of experience with him. Paul has an impressive proven track record of improving QA processes to be "best in class,” and brings that same drive to take RKW’s high standards to the next level. He has successfully improved lab areas and durability testing to exceed required standards, achieving ISO9001 and 17025 accreditations.

Joining Paul in QA is Richard Burton, who will take on the role of QA Compliance Manager. Richard also has vast experience in testing and compliance, with more than 20 years spent at Morphy Richards and SGS. As a Qualified ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor & a member of the GB National Committee for Standards, Richard will play a key role in helping RKW continue to innovate. He brings valuable expertise in ensuring compliance with legislation, day-to-day tasks and support, updating Standards Collections, and monitoring the ever-changing market.

These new additions mean exciting times ahead for RKW as it looks to maintain a lofty positon as the leading SDA company in the UK whilst continuing its aggressive expansion overseas. The company continues to make significant investments in a comprehensive digital transformation project, implementing cutting-edge technologies and innovative strategies to thrive in an ever-evolving global market.
