Vestel UK Joins Surrey Wildlife Trust’s Mission to Save 30% of Nature by 2030

Leading global manufacturer Vestel Visual Solutions has partnered with Surrey Wildlife Trust by becoming a Gold Member and donating interactive screens to enhance educational experiences.

4th July 2023: Vestel has joined forces with local wildlife charity Surrey Wildlife Trust to support the Trust’s mission to make space for nature to become abundant again and give struggling British wildlife the chance to recover.

The partnership continues Slough-based Vestel’s commitment to support charities and good causes close to its heart and local community and follows on from recent technology donations to Castleview Primary School.

Vestel is now a Surrey Wildlife Trust Gold Member and is donating two of its popular IFM interactive education screens, one of which will be utilised at Nower Wood Educational Nature Reserve, enhancing the learning experience for school visits to the centre.

The second will be donated to the Wilder Schools education programme through an exciting competition launching in September. The Wilder Schools initiative works with schools on a longer-term basis to embed nature into the curriculum and improve the school grounds for children and wildlife.

The partnership will also see Vestel’s team take part in volunteering initiatives and events, contribute to blogs on Surrey Wildlife Trust’s website and receive discounts for individual Trust memberships.

Surrey Wildlife Trust is one of 46 Wildlife Trusts working across the UK, and with the invaluable support of the volunteers and members, it cares for over 6,500ha of land for wildlife in Surrey. The Trust also works with other organisations and landowners to protect and connect wildlife sites across the county and inspire local communities and young people to care for wildlife.

Vestel UK is also supporting the Trust’s 30by30 mission calling for at least 30% of land and sea to be connected and protected for nature’s recovery by 2030. Making more space for nature to become abundant once again will give struggling wildlife the chance to recover and restore beautiful wild places - places that store carbon and help to tackle the climate crisis.
