Eco paint specialists Victory Colours is helping homeowners relieve stress this Mental Health Awareness Month, by showcasing five colours that will bring calm and serenity into the home.

Victoria Yardley, Managing Director of Victory Colours, said: “Mental health impacts all aspects of our lives and is one of the most important issues in society.

“This Mental Health Awareness Month, we want to bring calm into the home to create a sanctuary where people can relax and unwind and we’ve picked five colours to bring tranquillity into the home.

“As well as bringing a sense of calm into the home with a new relaxing colour scheme, tackling a DIY project can bring its own mental health benefits, helping to boost self-esteem and improving mood.”

Here Vicky talks through her top five picks to bring calm into the home:

1.       Serenity

The name might be a bit of a giveaway, but we designed this soft blue/green hue to bring fresh, calming tones into the home. But what I really love about this colour is how it changes pigmentation in the natural light, so its tone varies throughout the day.

2.       Cloud Tree

This stunning shade of sage green is a gorgeous blend of tranquillity and coolness to bring a really fresh take on interiors. Greens are renowned for their harmony and restfulness, making Cloud Tree perfect for busy spaces.

3.        Wild Swimming

A stunning blend of blue and green, teal shades ticks both boxes when it comes to supporting mental health and on-trend interiors. Wild Swimming will bring depth and laid-back luxe.

4.       Avalon

Understated and elegant, Avalon will cocoon any space with its warmth. Ideal for making smaller rooms feel bigger, Avalon is a gorgeous neutral that exudes a sense of peace.

5.       Paeony

Pink, especially its softer shades, is associated with calmness. But the real beauty of Paeony is how well it pairs with other shades, bringing a relaxing touch into the home.

Victoria added: “As well as supporting a sense of calm and refreshing any space, like all paint in the Victory Colours range, these shades have incredible eco credentials adding to the holistic feeling.”

Victory Colours’ range of eco wall paints are available now, priced at £44.95 for 2.5-litres.
