Oxfordshire: Crossland Employment Solicitors appoints new Managing Director as it takes next step as an Employee Ownership Trust

27 March 2024, Oxfordshire:  Abingdon-based Crossland Employment Solicitors is taking its next step as an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT) and has appointed Director, Barry Ross, as its new Managing Director. Beverley Sunderland, the previous MD, will continue as a Partner allowing her to increase her availability and focus on clients.

Barry Ross joined Crossland in 2011 before becoming a Director in 2017. The new appointment enables Barry Ross, along with other very experienced members of the firm to take a more prominent role in its leadership and administration, with Maria Hoeritzauer and Owen Dear becoming Directors and Kevin Charles remaining as Consulting Barrister.

Since Crossland became an EOT in 2021 all of its employees are also now owners of the business, which has continued to thrive. In the latest 2024 editions of Legal 500 and Chambers UK guides, all four Partners and Kevin Charles are recognised as experts, along with the firm which is based on Milton Park.
