Tower is RKW’s flagship brand, with over 100 years of historic quality in manufacturing and design excellence. Tower are already the UK’s top brand for air fryer sales by volume, selling nearly 900,000 units in 2021. The brand is now expecting nearly a 50% increase in sales during 2022 with sales expected to top 1.3 million by the end of December 2022.

The demand and sales for Tower air fryers has been driven by the energy saving credentials of Vortx technology, as consumers look to save on their energy bills during the current economic difficulties. RKW are also seeing UK consumers upgrade their older ‘basic’ air fryers for a more premium model such as the Xpress and twin basket Vortx models. To keep up with consumer trends and demands, the UK’s fastest growing SDA brand is launching innovative new air fryers models into Tower’s current range. Newer air fryers have better energy saving capacities, allowing consumers to make their investment back long-term.

Demand is also supported by the extensive air fryer coverage on UK news platforms, with the aim to help consumers save money and time. RKW have recently had direct coverage on BBC Radio Stoke, with Managing Director Rob Sutton commenting on the power of energy saving air fryers. Industry specific news platforms have also included features, such as Housewares News and Progressive Housewares magazine.

RKW are releasing a variety of new air fryer models by Tower, including the Tower Vortx Vizion 9L Dual Basket (T17100). Included Vortx technology is exclusive to the Tower brand, rapidly circulating hot air around food, cooking up to 30% faster than a conventional oven. 10 one-touch presets ensure meals are available at the touch of a button, with added viewing windows to make it easier for the consumer to monitor the food cooking process without having to open the door. This air fryer model includes two large 4.5L baskets to improve versatility, and Tower’s Smart Finish function will control both baskets, ensuring cooking is completed at the same time.

The Tower Vortx Eco Dual Basket Air Fryer (T17099) is another exciting addition to the Tower brand, boasting Vortx technology, 8 on-touch pre-sets, and two cooking baskets, sized 3.3L and 5.2L respectively. If consumers need to cook two types of food, the Tower Vortx Eco Dual Basket Air Fryer also includes Smart Finish, so both baskets complete cooking at the same time.

Tower are also releasing the Vortx Vizion 11L Dual Sided Air Fryer Oven (T17102), with duo compartment technology, two large 5.5L individual ovens, and 10 one-touch meal pre-sets. Vizion technology saves customers time and money in the kitchen, as there’s no need to constantly open the air fryer to check meals.

RKW’s customers can expect these new air fryers to become available from late November 2022, through to early January 2023. The new air fryers will join the existing range of air frying products designed to help customers cook delicious and healthy meals, whilst saving energy.

Alongside new additions, sales are being driven by larger air fryer ovens. Particularly the Tower Xpress Pro Combo 10-in-1 Digital Air Fryer Oven (T17076), the Tower Xpress Pro 5-in-1 Digital Air Fryer Oven (T17039), and the Tower Xpress 5-in-1 Manual Air Fryer Oven (T17038).

Their versatility continues to make them popular choices for customers. The Tower 10-in-1 is able to cook rotisserie chicken, pizzas, chargrill meats, kebabs, baked goods, grilled and roast food, as well as air frying, toasting, and dehydrating functions. The Tower 5-in-1 variations similarly create more meal choices for consumers. This is paired with energy saving capabilities, helping consumers to save up to 50% on their energy bills.

RKW encourages its customers to watch for these exciting new air fryer releases, as they strive to meet industry demand. Please contact sales@rkwltd.com, or speak to an account manager for further information.
