Fyne Opens New Larger UK Factory

Fyne Audio has opened a new, larger manufacturing facility in Glasgow to streamline UK loudspeaker building and improve supply to audio distributors and retailers worldwide.

21st October 2024 – Glasgow, Scotland: Fyne Audio, the renowned Scottish loudspeaker brand, is proud to announce the opening of its new manufacturing facility in Glasgow, a move that doubles the company’s UK production capacity. This significant expansion strengthens Fyne Audio’s commitment to British manufacturing, affirms its commitment to distributors and retailers, and solidifies its position in the global high-end audio market.

For AV distributors and retailers partnering with Fyne Audio, this development is especially exciting. The new facility will enable faster production and delivery of Fyne’s award-winning loudspeaker ranges that are handcrafted in the UK, ensuring retailers can better meet customer demand for premium, high-performance audio products.

Since its founding in 2017, Fyne Audio has grown into a brand synonymous with high-quality audio engineering and uncompromising quality. The company’s expansion reinforces its commitment to producing British-made loudspeakers that are sought after by audiophiles around the world. With over 45 distributors globally, Fyne Audio’s investment in UK manufacturing is a testament to the strength of the brand and its ambition to support its retail partners by ensuring availability and fast fulfilment of its popular ranges.

The new Glasgow facility has been purchased outright by Fyne Audio, spanning 50,000 square feet in total with, currently, over 20,000 square feet of design and manufacturing space, giving the brand room to expand facilities on the site in the future. The move brings together design, engineering, assembly, and testing processes under one roof, allowing Fyne to optimise manufacturing efficiency, improve quality control, and deliver world-class products to market faster.

Doubling Capacity

With increased production capabilities – doubly that of its previous site - retailers can benefit from a more reliable supply chain and faster delivery times, boosting sales opportunities.

Fyne Audio’s product ranges, including models equipped with its proprietary IsoFlare point-source driver technology and patented BassTrax system, continue to garner praise from the international press. The new facility in the Bellshill area of Glasgow is large enough to allow future expansion when needed, including plans for sustainability initiatives, such as installing 400 solar panels to generate enough energy to power the entire factory.

A new purpose-built demo room within the facility provides dealers, distributors, and press the opportunity to experience Fyne Audio’s premium sound firsthand. Operational now, the factory is being fitted out for speaker production across all of Fyne’s UK-built ranges, with press and trade events planned for the on-site celebration of the milestone early next year.
