Discover the Tile Combination that Exudes Elegance

Interior Designer and Founder of The Baked Tile Company, Lesley Taylor, shows homeowners how to combine the bold and the basic to stunning effect in a luxurious bathroom makeover.

Using two very different tiles from The Baked Tile Company’s collection, Lesley has created an atmospheric bathroom that not only makes an impact visually but ensures the space feels much bigger too.

Lesley said: “We wanted to create a space that felt luxurious and relaxed, but most importantly, one that wouldn’t date any time soon. The combination of our Reflections Teal and Cast White from our Designer Basics Collection works beautifully.”

Reflections Teal is a Zellige-inspired tile with an undulating, textured surface. It has a deep glaze and an almost iridescent appearance, and its long, thin shape means it is incredibly versatile.

Designer Basics Cast White offers effortless, minimalist style.

Lesley said: “As you enter the bathroom, the first wall you see should be the feature wall. We wanted to make a big impact, so we used Reflections in a stunning herringbone effect. Importantly, the herringbone points upwards which draws the eye to give the feeling of more space.

“We then used Cast White on the remaining walls and floors to off-set the drama.”

The look was completed with accessories in natural materials to offer a classic, timeless finish that won’t date.

Both Reflections Teal and Designer Basics in Cast White are available now from The Baked Tile Company. Reflections Teal is priced at £72.10 per m2 and Designers Basics in Cast White is £63.90 per m2.
