Codelocks is taking mechanical digital access control to the next level with the release of its new CL500KEY Mechanical Lock. The powerful addition to the CL500 Mechanical Lock Range incorporates a tougher and ergonomically superior handle assembly, featuring greater durability for heavy-duty use in high-traffic areas, as well as a practical key override.
Jo Milne-Rowe, Managing Director at Codelocks said: “Expanding our mechanical and electronic access control ranges is a top priority at Codelocks this year. Whenever commercial, industrial or residential applications call for a trusted, heavyweight mechanical lock, customers already know they can rely on the suitability of Codelocks’ CL500 or CL600 ranges. This new lock provides a valuable link between the ranges. With CL500KEY, we’ve added an extra dimension in terms of versatility, adding code, code-free and key access into the mix in a single, heavy-duty product, including an updated lever handle assembly for greater durability. And, as you’d expect from Codelocks, the CL500KEY has been enhanced, developed and tested to withstand the toughest environments.”
Available in a range of models, including front and back plates only, mortice latch and mortice lock models with and without code free access, the CL500KEY is designed to meet the highest traffic demands. The comprehensive range is suitable for a variety of heavy-duty applications in offices and workplaces, education, healthcare, warehouses, industrial, transportation and logistics facilities.
The new CL500KEY mechanical locks provide a bridge between the trusted CL500 and the heavier weight CL600. The CL500KEY locks offer the best of both worlds, the everyday dependability of the CL500 and the durability of the CL600 with enhanced entry management and now the addition of a key override.
Features include a convenient deadbolt control that restricts code users when required, fire door compatibility when paired with Codelocks FireKit* and unparalleled versatility when it comes to the range of access needs. Entry operations can be managed with a key, a code or code-free. The Key Override feature makes the CL500KEY ideal for additional control or where an emergency override is needed.
Codelocks has secured CE marking for its mortice locks and tubular latches, establishing an extensive range of access control solutions and fire door assemblies with CE-certified locks and latches. This achievement provides specifiers, installers, and end-users with comprehensive quality assurance, fire safety, and legal compliance across a broad selection of access control products.
