A Leeds-based accessibility startup has secured early funding and expanded its team as it rebrands and accelerates its growth.
AUDITSU, formerly known as IMAGINaiTION, was founded by Jason Crispin, a multi-award-winning entrepreneur.
The new identity reinforces AUDITSU’s focus on automated accessibility compliance and risk intelligence, aligning with its mission to revolutionise accessibility compliance through data-driven solutions. The company supports mid-sized to enterprise organisations navigating the European Accessibility Act (EAA).
The EAA, which comes into force in June 2025, transforms accessibility from a user-interface concern into a legal and financial risk for 18.5 million companies serving the European Union.
Jason Crispin, founder and CEO of AUDITSU commented:
“With the European Accessibility Act set to reshape digital compliance, businesses can no longer afford to overlook accessibility. AUDITSU is growing fast to meet this challenge, providing companies with the data-driven intelligence they need to stay compliant, protect their reputation, and create truly accessible digital experiences.”
The company has also appointed its first two recruits following successful funding from the UK Government and The Royal Academy of Engineering.
Expanding to a team of three, the new additions include Simon Milner, acting chief technical officer, a Silicon Valley veteran with multi-billion-dollar exits who brings deep expertise in AI, data-driven compliance, and enterprise-scale software.
Also joining the team is Anzer Khan, machine learning engineer, an MSc AI graduate specialising in machine learning, computer vision, and deep learning, crucial for AUDITSU’s proprietary compliance intelligence platform.
The expanded team strengthens AUDITSU’s technical execution, positioning it for rapid growth.
Additionally, Jason Crispin has been accepted onto the Royal Academy of Engineering’s Regional Talent Engine, a programme providing mentorship, funding, and strategic support to high-potential entrepreneurs, further accelerating AUDITSU’s growth in the accessibility compliance space.
