The RM4340VX and the RM43SP40VX both have a 17” cutting width that is ideal for small to medium lawns, with a 50 litre grass bag and robust steel deck. Powered by Cobra’s 40V MAX+ lithium-ion battery system and equipped with a high-efficiency brushless motor, they deliver quiet, low-maintenance mowing without sacrificing power. Further, they are compact, lightweight and manoeuvrable with collapsible handles for easy storage. The RM43SP40VX is self-propelled for enhanced control and mowing speed.

The larger RM51SP80VX has a wider cutting deck of 51” for medium to large gardens, and is optimised for efficiency and coverage by being powered by Cobra’s twin 40v MAX+ lithium-ion batteries for longer run times and the strength to tackle tougher mowing tasks.

Why a rear roller creates stripes

The secret to striped lawns lies in the rear roller. As the mower passes across the grass, the roller gently bends the blades in different directions. Light reflects differently depending on which way the grass is leaning, creating the alternating light and dark stripe effect seen on football pitches and ornamental lawns.
