Visitors attending this year’s Rail Live at Long Marston Rail Innovation Centre in Warwickshire will have the opportunity to see and hear more about L.B. Foster’s in-demand PW series hydraulic lubricator, as well as a number of additional rail solutions on Stand B20 .

The PW hydraulic lubricator currently features in a successful pilot installation at London Waterloo station for Network Rail. Its innovative new design includes a vertical lubricant reservoir that means it can be installed trackside, even in restricted spaces such as those experienced at London Waterloo.

The company’s mobile, battery-powered Inform digital customer information totem, equipped with L.B. Foster’s unique Inform Media software, will also be demonstrated at the show. The screens were recently featured on BBC Breakfast, complete with in-screen British Sign Language presenters to help the Deaf community navigate stations and onward travel.

Jonathan Paragreen is General Manager at L.B. Foster Friction Management. He says: “It’s great to be back at Rail Live once again and this year we have some great solutions showcasing our expanding capabilities. Alongside our PW and Inform totem will be our latest improved, next generation MC-5 Gauge Face (GF) Applicator Bar, which is a replacement to the widely used MC-4 GF applicator bar. Combined with L.B. Foster’s patented GREASEGUIDE™, MC-5 bars maximize grease pick-up and carry-down while reducing waste.”

Two live demonstrations will also take place on the stand, focusing on Remote Performance Monitoring and the improvements offered by the new MC-5 Gauge Face Applicator Bar.
