Vestel Hits Competition for Six at Peerless AV Showcase

Vestel Visual Solutions UK took to the crease at Lords Cricket Ground in London last week to unveil its latest display products to the trade at the Peerless AV Showcase.

20th May 2024: The popular AV industry event, hosted by one of the UK’s largest displays mounting hardware brands, attracts integrators, distributors, and resellers from around the industry to see the latest products and solutions from the UK’s premier commercial AV manufacturers and suppliers.

The bright red Vestel display area was manned across the two-day event by the UK sales team, headed up by Head of B2B Sales Karen Langford, with Chris Moore, Alicia Kenedy, Jonathan McManus, and David Sturdy.

Taking centre stage of the Vestel display was the new Dynamic Series interactive screen, showcased in the 65-inch (DA65) screen size. This cutting-edge interactive flat panel display features zero-bonded screen technology to eliminate the traditional air gap between the display and touch screen layer. Not only does this make the screen more robust and immune to dust and moisture ingress, but it dramatically improves touch sensitivity and accuracy, giving zero-bonded screens a ‘tablet’ ' like feel to use.

The result is a dynamically more engaging screen, ideal for the education sector, where students are already familiar with the slick operation of touch-screen devices. Visual Solutions Executive, David Sturdy demonstrated the screen and his artistic talent through some eye-catching drawings at the event.

The Vestel area also highlighted the recently launched PR+ series of commercial displays, with two PR+ 55-inch screens. Offering exceptional value and low running costs, the PR+ is a 700nit brightness UHD resolution screen running ultra-secure Android 9 OS. Content ran throughout the event to showcase the PR+ series' dynamic punch, colour, and smooth motion processing.

Now a firm fixture in the UK commercial AV and signage industry diary, 2024 marked the fourth and biggest Peerless-AV Showcase to date. Mixing supplier exhibitions with keynote speeches, industry forums and a networking reception, in an easy-to-access London venue has become a winning formula.
