ScruffaLuvs, the toy smash hit of 2018, is making a comeback.

Relaunching in stores across the UK this summer, the plush rescue pets are set to charm a new generation and spark a wave of nostalgia for those who remember the original sell-out craze.

Designed for children aged 3 to 5, each ScruffaLuv begins as a tousled ball of fur. Through a wash, dry and groom process, the hidden pet is revealed, either a Puppy, Kitty or Bunny - available in both pink and blue assortments.

Each toy includes a deluxe carrier, collar, name tag and adoption certificate. Fans can also uncover on-pack ‘fur cheat codes’ to collect every ScruffaLuv. 

The updated range is being pitched as both an unboxing surprise and a way to inspire nurturing behaviour in young children as they rescue, adopt and take care of their new pet. 

They’re also being tipped by parents as a top toy hack for young pet lovers, offering all the joy of bonding and friendship of real pet ownership through immersive, hands-on play.

"The Scruffs are back, fluffier than ever," said James Austin-Smith, the brains behind the original range.

"We've kept that emotional bond that happens when you reveal your pet through rescue, but made the pets more adorable, the experience even more tactile and created a carrier so they can stay by your side!"

ScruffaLuvs are now available at major UK retailers including Argos, Smyths Toys Superstore, and The Entertainer, with an RRP of £19.99.

The original award-winning range sold over one million ScruffaLuvs worldwide in the first year of launch.

With revivals set to dominate shelves this year, ScruffaLuvs are perfectly poised to win hearts all over again.
