Vestel Visual Solutions UK showcased its latest interactive screens at the recent Schools and Academies Show, the UK’s premier education trade event.

Birmingham, UK – Monday 25th November 2024 – This year’s Schools and Academies trade show at Birmingham’s NEC saw Vestel Visual Solutions UK showcase its flagship DA series of interactive displays. Featuring cutting-edge zero-bonded screen technology for ultra-slick touch screen response, the series garnered widespread interest from AV integrators and educational establishments eager to elevate the digital learning experience.

Zero-bonded screen technology is changing the perception of interactive screens, delivering smart-device levels of touch responsiveness, wider viewing angles and increased longevity. By eliminating the air gap between the screen’s layers, the zero-bonded design also delivers enhanced clarity, reduced glare, and a more immersive viewing experience than traditional air-gapped capacitive touch screens.

The technology also makes the DA series much more resistant to dust or moisture ingress, making them an ideal solution for interactive classroom activities. DA models in 65, 75 and 86in are available now, all featuring 4K UHD resolution, 350-400 nits brightness, 20 point touch IR and a host of whiteboard and conference software built in. Based on Android 13 OS, all models feature 20Watt speakers and a 50,000-hour life span, making the range a solid investment in the future of digital education.

"We are thrilled by the exceptional level of interest our DA Series interactive screens received from education integrators and establishments at the show," said Chris Moore, B2B Sales Manager at Vestal Visual Solutions. "The feedback reinforces the growing demand for cutting-edge interactive AV solutions that enhance both teaching and learning experiences. Additionally, it was clear that our digital signage screens are gaining traction in the education sector, as schools and academies increasingly recognise the value of effective digital messaging for communication and engagement."

Throughout the event, Vestel’s eye-catching 'Spin the Wheel' game was demonstrated on the DA Series screens, attendees getting a feel of the technology’s lightning-fast touch response and stunning visuals. The game was a highlight of the booth, vividly showcasing how the DA Series can bring educational content to life with engaging interactivity and superior image quality.

The Schools and Academies Show, held annually, is a key event for education professionals across the UK. It provides a platform for industry leaders, educators, and AV integrators to explore the latest innovations and solutions tailored to the education sector. This year’s show attracted thousands of visitors, with a strong focus on digital transformation in schools and academies.

Vestel’s presence at the event underscored its commitment to supporting the education sector with affordable, reliable, European-made screens with must-have features for the future. With experience from major projects in education, such as the prestigious Bolton School’s 80-screen AV upgrade, DA Series zero bonded interactive screens and a robust portfolio of competitive digital signage solutions, Vestel is gaining traction as the display supplier of choice for schools and colleges across the UK.
