Heritage British brand, Start-Rite Shoes marks its 230th year with a special-edition Birthday Collection.

The 230th Birthday Collection has been specially created to celebrate the milestone anniversary and includes much-loved styles in the brand's most popular silhouettes, reimagined in new colourways.

The Norwich-based children’s footwear brand that began in a small shop behind the city’s market in the late 18th Century, combines extensive knowledge and expertise with the latest biomechanics science and product innovation to support children’s developmental needs.

The collection will see seasonal styles added at key moments throughout the year. Kicking off the exclusive collection is the classic 'Clare' style in a pastel pink leather, loved for its structured and formal design with delicate decorative perforated detail. Fully lined with premium leather, the style features a single bar closure with a buckle fastener for adjustability and a comfortable fit.

Often imitated, the Lottie style in navy, red and introducing tan and wine colourways, exclusively for this collection. A classic stitch-down style paired with supportive materials to encourage natural movement, padded ankles for extra comfort and support and leather linings, with a secure buckle fastening in keeping with this classic design.

Finally, launching in AW22, a reinvented collection of classic desert boots in dusty coral glitter, and brown and navy suede and Chelsea boots in muted seasonal suedes and striking wine and blue leathers.
