Live sport, big-screen action and private karaoke combine with zoned sound and digital signage installed at Amber Taverns’ flagship Salisbury pub.

Bolton, 4th November, 2026: Hospitality AV specialist TVC Technology Solutions has completed an ambitious integrated audio-visual installation at Cooper & Co, an Amber Taverns pub in Salisbury.

Bringing together indoor and outdoor sports viewing, dedicated karaoke, digital promotions and independently controlled audio, the installation gives Amber Taverns the flexibility to host different experiences under one roof. Customers can follow the action, settle in for drinks or take the microphone themselves, while staff have the control to keep each area working in harmony.

Located at 40 Blue Boar Row, Cooper & Co combines a main bar, private karaoke room and outdoor space. TVC’s brief was to connect these spaces through an AV system that supports the pub’s varied entertainment programme and makes day-to-day operation straightforward.

Chris Whitlock at TVC Technology Solutions commented: “Great pub AV should work as hard as the team behind the bar. At Cooper & Co, that means turning a big match into an occasion, giving a group of friends their own karaoke stage and taking the entertainment outside when the sun comes out. The key is making all those choices simple to manage. We’ve brought the screens, sound, signage and lighting together so staff can set the scene, promote the next event and keep the atmosphere flowing. Get that combination right and you give customers more reasons to come in, stay for another round and come back.”

Ten Samsung 4K hospitality TVs, from 55 to 75 inches, include two 65-inch screens in the karaoke room, while an Optoma Full HD laser projector and 122-inch electric screen deliver big-event viewing. Outside, a 75-inch fully waterproof outvue display combines daylight-friendly 3,000-nit brightness with IP66 weather protection and IK10 impact resistance.

Promotions and events appear on three 50-inch 4K portrait displays and a double-sided 49-inch window display addressing customers and passers-by. Startle signage players, supplied by Amber Taverns and installed by TVC, make messaging straightforward to update.

A WyreStorm AV-over-IP platform connects eleven televisions and a projector, allowing staff to distribute three Sky Q receivers, Atmosphere TV, digital signage, karaoke and a dedicated darts camera throughout the venue or select different content for individual areas.

Twelve Audac VEXO108 loudspeakers, two 12-inch subwoofers and Audac amplification serve the front, bar, rear and karaoke areas. An Optimal Audio Zone 4 mixer and controller provides independent source and volume adjustment, balancing sports commentary, background music and karaoke to suit each space and trading period.

In the dedicated karaoke room, Amber Taverns supplied and installed Singa Karaoke software, integrated with the two Samsung screens, a wall-mounted 13-inch iPad Pro and W Audio quad wireless microphones. Audac sound and adjustable RGBW LED lighting complete the group entertainment space.

Across the bar and karaoke room, RGBW COB LED tape, four-zone control, dartboard illumination, a motorised mirror ball and LED pinspots take the atmosphere from daytime trading to evening entertainment.

TVC also delivered B-Tech and Peerless mounting solutions, satellite and terrestrial aerial systems, RF distribution, cabling, commissioning and staff handover training. A Hikvision darts camera and decoder share play across connected displays, while microphone and HDMI inputs accommodate announcements and external entertainment.

The integrated platform brings sport, promotions, music and interactive entertainment to Cooper & Co’s indoor and outdoor spaces. Straightforward controls help Amber Taverns’ team respond to changing fixtures, offers and customer activities during busy trading, making more of the pub’s space and giving customers more reasons
