02 December 2025, UK: Acquirz, an award-winning B2B data solutions agency, has appointed Shaun Tout as its new Operations Director, further strengthening its senior leadership team as the business continues to expand.
The agency has seen a 75% growth over the past 12 months, accelerated further by the recent acquisition of Marketscan, a UK-based provider of high-quality B2B contact data and marketing services. This move expanded and strengthened its team and service range, to deliver a blend of market-leading data and email marketing solutions that help businesses generate high-quality leads and scale effectively.
With two decades of experience across operational management, database marketing, and client services, Shaun brings extensive expertise in helping organisations expand and deliver exceptional customer experiences. His appointment reflects Acquirz’s ongoing commitment to streamline its operations and enhance collaboration across departments to support the company’s continued growth.
Shaun’s career spans 20 years, having entered the industry from the financial services sector. He first met Acquirz Directors Russ Wilmot while at college at age 16, and Chris Skinner through local sport around the same time. He went on to work with them professionally from 2006 as part of the Client Services Team at a Cheltenham-based B2B data agency, staying with the business for 18 years, through periods of significant expansion, merger, and its eventual £54m acquisition to Upland Software in 2021, which Shaun and his team helped co-ordinate.
Following Upland BlueVenn’s withdrawal from the market in 2023, Shaun broadened his experience within the cyber security and e-commerce sectors, supporting operational and customer success teams. He now brings this diversified experience back to the data and marketing industry as he takes up his new position at Acquirz.
As Operations Director, Shaun will focus on optimising efficiency, strengthening internal processes, and ensuring that teams have the tools, support, and structure needed to excel. His vision is to cultivate a culture of continuous improvement - one that is designed around the customer, embraces innovation and equips the business for long-term success in an evolving marketplace.
