Good Ripple, the networking platform connecting thousands of sustainability-focused changemakers and changemaking businesses worldwide, has officially launched Good Ripple PRO. This exclusive membership designed to accelerate collaboration, learning, and action among global impact leaders.
The launch of Good Ripple PRO was made during The Good Ripple Experience, the community’s global first in-person gathering on Wednesday 25th June. Held in London, as part of London Climate Action Week, the event was replicated simultaneously in Finland, Spain and Portugal with networking and collaboration between locations. The sold-out event brought together around 70 changemakers from across the UK and beyond for a full day of networking, creativity, and thought leadership.
Ripples of Change
Since its inception just two and a half years ago, Good Ripple has grown into a dynamic network of over 4,200 members across 120 countries. This landmark in-person event marks a new chapter for the movement, offering the opportunity to build deeper connections, spark cross-sector collaborations, and take tangible steps toward Good Ripple’s mission of connecting 300 million changemakers by 2030.
“The energy people brought to the day was out of this world,” said Carlos Terol, Founder and CEO of Good Ripple. “It was better than I could have ever dreamed. It wasn’t about knowledge and mind. It was about heart and hands, tapping into people’s emotions and collaborating together on collective action.”
The Good Ripple Experience was designed to reflect the belief that when people come together to imagine a better world and take action, nothing can stop them. The day featured an intentionally unconventional programme – a mix of deep, playful, and inspiring sessions that pushed attendees out of their comfort zones and into real connection.
Carlos Terol kicked off the day by DJing a 15-minute dance session to tribal house music, while later sessions included communal singing with musician James Sills, and stand-up comedy on climate anxiety with environmental comedian and UCL Lecturer Dr. Matt Winning. Other workshops included “Brick to the Future,” led by Lucy Hawthorne of Climate Play, where participants built imaginative LEGO time machines as a playful way to explore their visions of a better future.
Insights
Attendees also heard from Dan Sherrard-Smith, founder of sustainable finance platform MotherTree and also founder of Impact Creator, who shared practical insights on aligning profit with purpose to scale sustainable businesses. Chris W, Customer Success Lead of green marketing tool EcoSend, unpacked the environmental cost of digital activity, including emails and AI usage, offering tips on how to communicate more sustainably.
The event also featured a screening of ACTionism, a short documentary following 19-year-old Ellie Meredith as she transforms her climate anxiety into action. Meredith and Jon Alexander, co-founder of New Citizen Project and author of Citizens, joined the screening for a discussion about community-led change and citizen empowerment.
Coaching and emotional resilience emerged as a central theme throughout the day. Speakers including Ioana Hardy (Impacters Group), Charly Cox (Climate Change Coaches), and Sarah Flynn offered tools and guidance for navigating burnout and staying energised while working on long-term social and environmental goals. Caroline Harris, founder of Direction Aligned, also shared her personal journey of career transformation and reconnection with purpose after 18 years in banking, all of it thanks to Good Ripple in the first place.
Good Values
In keeping with Good Ripple’s values, every effort was made to minimise the environmental impact of the event. Attendees were asked not to fly in, bring single-use items, or distribute printed materials. All food served was 100% plant-based, and food waste was composted after the event.
At one point in the day, attendees were also able to connect with parallel events taking place in Helsinki, Lisbon, and the Canary Islands, creating a sense of shared global presence. Updates from each location were shared live, reinforcing the idea that this is not just a London initiative – but part of a growing, connected, global movement.
Good Ripple PRO
Central to the day was the launch of Good Ripple PRO, a new membership tier for those ready to deepen their commitment to impact. PRO offers curated networking, exclusive events, discounted services, peer mentoring, and ongoing support designed to help changemakers scale their work and businesses while staying connected to a global community.
“The Good Ripple Experience wasn’t just an event. It was a ripple in itself – a spark,” said Terol. “People told me they felt they were going back out into the world with renewed energy and a deeper sense of purpose. That’s exactly why we created Good Ripple.”
Asked what’s next, Terol was clear: “This was just the beginning. We’re building the foundations of a global support system for people who are creating change, from individuals with a strong climate agenda to the people driving the direction of major global corporations. With Good Ripple PRO, we’re taking that to the next level. We can’t wait to connect 300 million changemakers by 2030 – and help every one of them feel like they’re not doing it alone.”
