RKW is attending Spring Fair 2023 with new and exciting product ranges, alongside best-selling favourites.
Spring Fair is the annual home retail trade fair held on the 5-8th February 2023. It has been held at the NEC Birmingham for over 70 years, attracting a range of customers from independent and national retailers.
RKW is attending with a wide range of its renowned own brands, distributor brands, and licensed brands, including Tower, Carmen, Warmlite, Swan, Lavazza, Hubble, Smeg, Black + Decker, Russell Hobbs, View Quest, AKAI, ITEK, and Numatic.
The latest innovations from each brand can be found at Spring Fair exhibitor stands, 8A70-B71 and 8A60-B61.
RKW’s continuous investment into its NPI roadmap brings a range of innovative, trend lead Tower products to market, just in time for Spring Fair 2023. New product developments include air fryer models, kitchenware collections, cookware collections, and floorcare collections.
Tower air fryers
Tower is currently the number one brand in the UK air fryer market, selling over 2 million units in 2022. The UK’s top brand by air fryer sales volume is continuously bringing out new and innovative air frying products for customers and end-users. The popularity of Tower air fryers continues to grow, supported by a range of trade show appearances such as at Spring Fair, and marketing campaigns through multiple digital marketing channels.
The energy-saving benefits of Tower air fryers are supported by cooking versatility, with a range of Tower-exclusive features that help customers to save costs during the ongoing cost of living crisis.
Tower Vortx technology
Tower Vortx technology is helping consumers save up to 50% on energy in the kitchen. As energy costs continue to rise, consumers are opting to use Tower Vortx air frying products instead of their conventional ovens.
This is because Vortx technology is designed to rapidly circulate hot air around food in the air fryer, which results in a 30% faster cooking time when compared to a conventional oven. Minimised cooking times reduce overall energy costs in the kitchen, whilst ensuring delicious, evenly cooked food after every use.
Tower Vortx technology specifically provides costs savings of up to £124 a year with the best-selling Tower T17076 Xpress Pro Combo 10-in-1 air fryer oven, compared with a standard 3KW oven.
Tower Vizion technology
A range of new Tower air fryers feature exclusive Vizion technology, meaning products have added viewing windows to allow consumers to monitor their food as it cooks. This is an excellent energy and time saver, as consumers no longer need to open air fryer doors to check their food is cooked.
Vizion technology features on a range of air fryer types, including air fryer ovens such as the Tower T17102 Vizion dual air fryer oven, as well as single baskets, dual baskets and other popular SDA.
New Tower twin basket air fryers with Smart Finish technology
There are a range of new Tower dual basket air fryers in attendance at the show, providing the ultimate choice in air fryer versatility.
Customers can choose to cook separate meals simultaneously, or one larger portion instead. Tower Smart Finish technology controls cook times, so both air fryer baskets finish cooking separate ingredients at the same time, providing crisp and healthy meals for the whole family. There’s no more juggling multiple cooking times, resulting in easy food preparation.
The new Tower dual basket air fryers are also fitted with a range of basket sizes. For example, the Tower T17099 Vortx Eco Duo basket air fryer has one 3.3L basket, alongside a larger 5.2L basket, giving consumers a range of cooking options. For larger capacity requirements, The Tower T17102 Vizion dual basket air fryer comes with two 5.5L baskets, with a combined capacity of 11L.
Tower steam air fryer
Tower’s unique new T17101 steam air fryer allows customers to air fry, whilst simultaneously steaming food. This means crispy and delicious meals made by an air fryer that harnesses the power of steam to lock in nutrients, for more flavoursome and healthier meals.
The convenient self-cleaning function uses the natural power of steam to clean the air fryer so consumers no longer need to, leaving no burnt food stains at the touch of a button.
Following on from air fryers, other small domestic appliances will be on show such as the Tower T22019GLD Ceraglide Cord-cordless Iron, with cordless flexibility, delivering a smoother glide over all types of fabrics for 30% faster ironing.
Tower kitchenware collections
Tower manufacturers and distributes a range of kitchenware collections, such as Cavaletto, Glitz, Heritage, Ash, Renaissance, Solitaire, Scandi, Empire, Belle, Infinity Stone, and Odyssey. All of these collections will be on the Tower stand at Spring Fair 2023, including best-selling products and exciting new colourways.
Collections by Tower are designed to give consumers a wide range of options when portraying their personal style through their homewares and electrical products. Tower always has the perfect collection to suit every style of home, with a choice of matching kettles, coffee makers, toasters, mug trees, breadbins and more.
The Tower Cavaletto collection is a popular range, featuring trend-driven colour combinations and a matte finish, reflecting a luxurious look without a premium price. The new Cavaletto Latte colourway is coming to Spring Fair, reflecting a trending colour for 2023, as consumers look to neutral and earthy tones as a form of self-care.
Tower Solitaire is another exciting new collection, with a stylish modern gloss 3D patterned body finish and stainless steel trim. The collection showcases some of the latest design trends to bring a luxurious feel to any kitchen. Available as a range of products including toasters, kettles and breadbins, in a range of colourways, such as black, white, grey, and latte.
Tower SmartStart™
SmartStart™ is the latest innovation from Tower, releasing from January 2023 in time for Pancake Day and Spring Fair. The SmartStart™ range includes intelligent and energy saving cooking pans, featuring a temperature sensor which changes from a bright red colour to darker red at the optimum warm temperature of 200°C, to identify the correct cooking temperature for budding chefs. This means home chefs know when to turn down the heat on the hob to reduce overall energy consumption.
There are four exciting ranges in the SmartStart™ collection, Classic, Gourmet, Forged and Ultra Forged, available as 24, 28, 30, and 32cm cooking pans. Each product has up to 6 layers of Tower-exclusive Aeroglide™ coatings, which are up to 15x stronger than other standard non-stick coatings. The premium SmartStart™ range of Ultra Forged is complete with an energy-efficient Inducto™ induction compatible base, heating up 25% faster than standard induction bases, giving fantastic energy saving benefits to the user.
Excluding the handles of Classic, Gourmet, and Forged, SmartStart™ products and packaging are recyclable. The range also features a guarantee of up to 10 years!
Tower Cerastone Pro
Tower Cerastone Pro is another new cookware addition at Spring Fair 2023, built on the success of the renowned Cerastone collection. It features heavy gauge 4mm forged aluminium bodies, and a 5-layer non-stick coating that is 10x stronger than the competition.
The range features the Tower-exclusive Inducto™ induction compatible bases on pans, with rapid heat up which allows end-users to begin cooking quickly, with heat radiating evenly throughout the pans. Cerastone Pro is very easy to clean, as the non-stick coating provides effortless food release with high abrasion resistance, making the range dishwasher friendly.
Tower Freedom
Tower Freedom cookware is similarly exhibiting at Spring Fair 2023. The range allows complete versatility in the kitchen, featuring premium lightweight aluminium bodies and a Cerasure non-stick coating which is 3x stronger than alternatives.
The Freedom range is designed to be modular, with all pots and pans using a space-saving single detachable Bakelite handle. This allows products to be easily transferred from the hob, to the oven, to the table, and even the fridge for storage.
RKW customers can also look forward to new Tower floorcare products, including the Tower VL Series collection. This represents the biggest investment in floorcare technology seen in Tower’s history, with a range of corded and cordless vacuum cleaners that provide exceptional value for money.
The range continues to grow, ensuring there is a VL Series vacuum cleaner suitable for every consumer use case. Variable power Li-ion batteries across the series are designed for maximum run time and minimum recharge time, resulting in powerful pick up performance.
3-in-1 cordless convenience means VL Series products can be used as stick vacs, detachable handhelds or extended reach vacs for hard to reach areas. The VL Series also has superior floorhead solutions, agitating dust and dirt for maximum pickup whilst anti-tangle floorheads prevent build-up of hair and debris for optimal vacuuming performance.
The leading product in the VL Series is the Tower VL100 T513012AT Optimum, a cordless 3-in-1 pole vacuum cleaner with Tower’s powerful new anti-tangle technology in its floorhead. This prevents hair build-up within the appliance as it cleans, whilst still providing excellent overall cleaning performance. Anti-tangle technology is a very important vacuum cleaner feature for modern consumers, to aid with household cleaning. The VL100 is Tower’s most advanced vacuum cleaner to date, complete with a touch sensitive LED display and four power modes, including auto suction mode.

Products attending Spring Fair from the Carmen range include personal heating products such as heated blankets. Carmen heated blankets quickly heat up, providing cheaper energy-saving alternatives to home heating, with high demand being seen throughout winter months. To avoid over-heating, blankets also automatically switch off, saving further energy use.
Other Carmen products attending Spring Fair include various beauty products, such as the Carmen Neon and Twilight hair styling product ranges. These help end-users to always look their best, and they make perfect gifts year-round, for birthdays and also upcoming Mother’s Day.
Black + Decker
From Stanley Black + Decker, a range of heating, cooling and small domestic appliances will be displayed on the RKW Spring Fair stand. These products include air conditioning units and pedestal fans with stylish designs that provide various options for keeping cool. This means customers can stock up before the trading period where weather begins to get warmer into 2023. Some options such as desk fans are also highly efficient, using little energy in the home.
Black + Decker heating products include oil filled radiators and ceramic tower heaters, which work well to save energy on heating bills, as they can be used to only heat rooms required, instead of the whole home. Some products also come with a timer function, limiting the amount of time in use which saves further costs.
RKW specialise in small domestic appliances, and as such, will also be bringing a range of Black + Decker SDA, including air fryers, steam irons, slow cookers and microwaves.
