Homegrown happiness starts here with elho: The easy guide to growing your own at home

As spring gets into full swing and gardens bounce back to life, it’s the perfect time to start growing your own. Whether tending to a compact patch or a generous garden, homegrown produce offers a simple way to reconnect with nature while enjoying flavour straight from the source.

Sustainable plant pot and garden solutions innovator, elho, makes growing at home easy, with smart, space-friendly designs that support plants from seed to harvest.

Start small, grow big

For those short on space but big on ambition, the green basics grow table super xxl brings the vegetable patch to you. Set at a comfortable working height, it’s ideal for balconies and patios, making planting, tending and harvesting easier than ever.

Designed with practicality in mind, excess water drains efficiently through the hollow legs, helping keep roots healthy. Pair it with the matching green basics grow house to protect young plants from pests and unpredictable weather, while creating the ideal conditions for faster, stronger growth.

The perfect foundation for every plant

Whether you’re nurturing herbs, fruit or vegetables, the green basics grow pot offers a reliable starting point. Developed alongside professional growers, it's designed to support strong root development through optimal aeration and moisture control.

Available in a wide range of sizes from 11cm to 40cm, it’s a versatile choice for everything from compact kitchen herbs to more established plants. For best results, pair with a matching saucer to collect excess water and allow plants to draw up water when they need it, encouraging stronger, healthier roots.

Durable and designed for long-term use, the grow pot can be reused season after season – perfect for gardeners looking to build their own sustainable gardening routine.

Give seeds the best start

Early preparation is key to a successful harvest, and the green basics seed tray makes it easy to get growing whatever the weather. Ideal for windowsills or use under grow lights, it allows gardens to pre-sow seeds in neat, organised compartments.

Each cell keeps roots separate, making seedlings easier to manage and transplant once they’re ready. With built-in drainage holes and a compact design, it creates the perfect environment for young plants to thrive from the very beginning.

For even better results, combine with the green basics grow tray, saucer and grow house to create a mini controlled greenhouse that supports healthy, consistent growth.

Smarter ways to grow more

elho's thoughtfully designed range takes the guesswork out of growing, with purpose-built solutions that help specific crops thrive.

The green basics tomato pot features an integrated support rack to encourage strong, upright growth, while a built-in water reservoir delivers consistent hydration for healthier plants.

The green basics strawberry pot is specially designed to protect delicate fruit, keeping strawberries elevated and supported to help prevent rot, pests and damaged runners – resulting in a more abundant and better-quality harvest.

For maximising every inch of space, the green basics veggie wall offers a vertical growing solution complete with an integrated trellis, ideal for climbing vegetables and flowers in more compact areas.

Turn waste into nourishment

Growing your own doesn’t stop at planting, it’s also about creating a sustainable cycle. The green basics composter transforms organic waste into nutrient-rich compost, feeding plants while reducing household waste.

Designed to encourage natural decomposition, it supports airflow and invites beneficial organisms, helping create high quality compost more efficiently. Pair it with the matching composter bottom to further enhance the process while keeping unwanted pests at bay.
