Woodlands.co.uk partners with SSSART to support mountain rescue and outdoor safety

Tuesday 25th March 2025: Woodlands.co.uk, the UK's leading provider of woodlands for sale, is proud to announce its support for the South Snowdonia Search & Rescue Team (SSSART) as it’s charity of the year for 2025.

SSSART is a registered charity that operates within the rugged terrain of South Snowdonia National Park in North West Wales. Comprising a dedicated team of over 35 highly trained volunteers from varied backgrounds, SSSART plays a critical role in assisting North Wales Police during mountain emergencies. As a member of both the North Wales Mountain Rescue Association and Mountain Rescue England and Wales, the team provides life-saving assistance to those in need across challenging and remote landscapes.

The sponsorship from Woodlands.co.uk will provide essential funding for SSSART, ensuring that the team has access to the best equipment, training, and resources required to carry out their vital work. With increasing numbers of people exploring the breath-taking landscapes of Snowdonia, the role of SSSART has never been more important.
