6 August 2024 – Employee-owned Crossland Employment Solicitors based in Abingdon is expanding its team and appointed a further solicitor to meet increasing demand, with radical employment law reforms proposed by the new Government.

Based on Milton Park, the nationally recognised employment law firm has appointed Saif Khan as Assistant Solicitor to its long-standing team which has over 114 years of experience across its six solicitors and barristers. Saif qualified in 2022 and will support Crossland in providing day-to-day employment law advice, along with services such as settlement agreements or contract reviews.

With the new Prime Minister committed to introducing an Employment Bill within his first 100 days of office, Saif’s appointment will help Crossland meet the increasing demand from local employers for advice on how new changes will impact businesses and the steps needed once legislation is in place.

Comments Barry Ross, Managing Director, Crossland Employment Solicitors: “Saif has already slotted into our long-established team brilliantly and is playing a key role alongside our other young talent, James Wallwork and Jade Dunsden.”

Adds Saif Khan: “Having known most of the team before joining, it was clear there was also a good culture at Crossland which has only been reinforced since my appointment. For me, specialising in employment was a simple choice as it provides the opportunity to work in an area which impacts businesses and individuals alike. As especially evident this year, it’s also an area of law that constantly evolves, which provides the regular challenges I enjoy.”
