Mitchell & Brown unveils two 12V Smart TVs that bring the features, channel choice and sophistication of home TVs to the camping, boating and caravanning markets.
Tuesday 15th October 2024, BOLTON: Mitchell & Brown, the UK’s favourite domestic TV brand, is proud to announce the launch of two new smart TVs tailored to outdoor enthusiasts.
Ideal for the camping, caravanning and boating markets, the new models, JB-32DVD1811ST and JB-24DVD1811ST, come in 32-inch and 24-inch screen sizes and offer the full range of features to equal the best at-home televisions. These fully Smart TVs offer the full range of streaming services, including Netflix, Prime and Apple TV, built-in Freeview AND Freesat tuners, and have a discreet slot-loading DVD player and USB port for recorded media content.
Based on Mitchell & Browns’ exceptional CU-Series Smart TVs for the home, these 12V-powered models offer a sophisticated user experience thanks to their WebOS operating system. This slick interface is normally found on premium TVs from the likes of LG Electronics and is well-regarded for its ease of use and simple access to streaming services, websites and the likes of YouTube and Facebook.

By including built-in Freesat and Freeview tuners, viewers have access to the widest range of broadcast content via aerial or dish, ideal for those who adventure far off-grid. Connect to Wi-Fi or Wi-Fi Hotspot from a smart device, and these TVs can also access on-demand services like BBC iPlayer, ITV Hub, and My5 to catch up on missed broadcast viewing.
For customers who prefer physical media, the JB-32DVD1811ST and JB-24DVD1811ST also feature built-in slot-load DVD players and USB media ports, as well as two HDMI inputs.
Practically, the two new models come with a desktop stand and the option to wall mount using a compact 100x100 VESA mount, Running on a direct 12V feed from a caravan/camper/boat or leisure battery or the supplied multi-voltage to DC12V adapter, both TVs have been designed to consume little power in use – around 17 Watts for the 24” models and 25 Watts for the 32” model.
