Dalcour Maclaren Targets Growing Data Centre Market with Integrated Land Strategy Service

Bicester, (UK), Monday 14th September, 2026 — Dalcour Maclaren has launched a dedicated data centre capability to help developers identify viable sites, reduce project risk and accelerate the delivery of critical digital infrastructure. The service will be led by Rebecca Kaye, Associate Director, who has extensive experience supporting the development and delivery of major infrastructure projects, including data centres.

Demand for digital infrastructure continues to grow, driven by artificial intelligence, cloud computing and increasing data requirements. At the same time, developers face mounting pressure to secure suitable land, obtain power connections and navigate an evolving planning landscape, particularly following the Government's decision to classify data centres as Critical National Infrastructure and extend the Nationally Significant Infrastructure Projects (NSIP) regime to eligible schemes.
Dalcour Maclaren's new capability has been developed to help clients address these challenges through an integrated land strategy. Using advanced spatial analysis and GIS technology, DM's Geomatics team brings together land surveying, property and infrastructure data to identify and assess potential sites against critical criteria, including proximity to electricity infrastructure, fibre connectivity, planning constraints and land ownership.
