Sleeps 6–10 guests across four bedrooms 

Wharf House sits right on Mousehole harbour, one of Cornwall's most celebrated destinations each December when the village's famous Harbour Lights switch on. Outside, a cedar-clad barrel sauna and two heated baths make for a warming end to a bracing coastal walk, while children can burn off Christmas Day energy on the indoor slide and mezzanine den. A wood burner anchors the kitchen and living space for family meals, and the coast path leads directly to Lamorna Cove and the clifftop Minack Theatre for those wanting to walk off the turkey. 

Seaglass House, St Mawes

Sleeps 8 guests across four bedrooms 

Just around the headland from Cornerways, Seaglass House looks out over St Mawes harbour from a tiered garden terrace, with a cocktail bar and cinema room for evenings in. A wood-fired pizza oven and charcoal barbecue keep outdoor entertaining going even in the winter months, and the home is dog-friendly for up to two four-legged guests. Trelissick House and Gardens and the passenger ferry to St Anthony's Head are close by if the group fancies stretching their legs over the holidays. 

Gwel Arvor, Port Isaac 

Sleeps 10 guests across five bedrooms 

A short stroll from Port Isaac's harbour, Gwel Arvor combines sea-view balconies with a cedar-clad hot tub and a media room stocked with a PlayStation 5 for younger guests. A sociable living space and garden dining table for ten make it well suited to a full family Christmas, while nearby Nathan Outlaw's seafood restaurants and Trevathan Farm Shop are ideal for stocking up on festive treats. Two dogs are welcome, so four-legged family members can join the celebrations too. 

Prennek House, Mawgan Porth 

Sleeps 8 guests across four bedrooms 

Set within easy reach of Mawgan Porth beach, Prennek House is built from eco-conscious, reclaimed materials and centres around a private master suite with its own roof terrace overlooking the sea. A wood burner and high-spec kitchen make it a comfortable base for a smaller family gathering, and the ground-floor bedroom suits guests who prefer to avoid the stairs. Padstow's Michelin-starred dining scene is a short drive away for a celebratory dinner out. 

Seathrift, Porthleven 

Sleeps 7–11 guests across five bedrooms 

Overlooking Porthleven Beach, Seathrift enjoys surf-inspired interiors and comes equipped with a wood burner and pizza oven for cosy evenings. Floor-to-ceiling windows on the first floor frame the sea views from the main living space, and Porthleven's town restaurants are a ten-minute walk away for those who fancy a break from cooking. Two dogs are welcome to join the family for the holidays. 

Cornerways, St Mawes 

Sleeps 8 guests across four bedrooms 

Elevated above St Mawes harbour, Cornerways has underfloor heating throughout and a suntrap balcony that catches the low winter sun. Bi-fold doors connect the living space to the garden, and the ground-floor bedrooms make the home easy to navigate for guests of all ages. St Mawes Castle, three shingle beaches and the harbourside Idle Rocks restaurant are all within walking distance for a change of scenery between Christmas meals.
