Tower to launch TV campaign to support innovative cookware collection

The UK’s fastest growing SDA & Housewares brand are looking to build on the success of the innovative energy saving SmartStart® cookware range

Tower, the UK’s leading SDA and housewares brand, have announced an ambitious TV campaign to build on the success of the innovative SmartStart® cookware collection.

The campaign will showcase SmartStart® as part of a £1million investment in their autumn & winter marketing campaigns. The TV commercial, which will air throughout November and again in February as part of the lucrative run up to Pancake Day, will show consumers exactly how SmartStart® cookware can take the guesswork out of cooking for effortless performance in the kitchen.

Tower is now award-winning for its Excellence in Product Development, after winning the award from the Excellence in Housewares Awards, demonstrating the dedication to innovation and quality products that Tower has.

Within the TV campaign itself, Tower will showcase all the benefits of cooking while using SmartStart®, with a particular focus on the red tick technology. The tick in the centre of the pan will change from light red to dark red once the optimum temperature of 200C has been reached.

Introducing the SmartStart® collection

There are four compelling ranges in the SmartStart® collection, to suit every consumer demographic. The collection consists of Classic, Gourmet, Forged, and Ultra Forged ranges, each with various construction processes such as Pressed and Forged Aluminium. There is also a clear trade up across the collection, from suitability for various hob types, to non-stick coatings and handles. 

The Gourmet pan will feature in the TV campaign, showcasing the unique design that makes these pans a must have in the kitchen. They also have a Bonded Steel base, suitable for any hob type, including induction, as well as featuring the Aeroglide non-stick coating, which is 3 times stronger compared to standard non-stick coatings.  It also comes with a 2-year guarantee for added peace of mind. The pans in the range come in a variety of sizes, from 24cm to 32cm.

SmartStart® cookware utilises temperature sensing technology to take the guesswork out of cooking. The temperature sensor, in the shape of a tick, is built into the non-stick coating, glowing dark red when the optimum cooking temperature has been reached.
