Wye Valley Brewery is a beloved family-run business that has been based in Herefordshire since 1985. Starting with cask brewing, they now have grown to a full-scale operation, producing an impressive 1,000 barrels per week.

In 2009, the installation of a bottling line marked a major milestone for the brewery and by 2023, the brewery made the decision to take things even further by installing a new packaging line- and more excitingly, a canning line.

As the festive season approaches in 2024, Wye Valley Brewery introduce the release of three popular brews in cans: Dorothy Goodbody’s Glorious IPA, Shindig and Avatar. Having launched into the world of cans with their lager 1985 and fan favourite Fandango. After launching with 1985 and Fandango, they continue to innovate with limited-edition releases in 330ml cans.

Dorothy Goodbody’s Glorious IPA (6.0% ABV), is a long-time fan favourite, previously available in bottles and pubs. It's a flavourful IPA and now, for the first time, it can be purchased in cans, expanding its reach to a wider audience to enjoy its malt richness and aromatic hops.

Shindig (4.1% ABV), a summer cask special that became a hit last year. Due to its popularity, Wye Valley Brewery has re-released it in can form, just in time for those who want to enjoy its light, refreshing taste all year round. Additionally, Avatar (4.5% ABV) also joining the range of cans, is a unique hop-forward pale ale with vibrant citrus notes and a smooth finish.

Available now from Wye Valley Brewery’s online shop and brewery store, these limited-edition beers come in packs of 12 x 330ml or a trio gift pack featuring Fandango. Look out for Hopfather, set to be released in cans later this year, currently available in casks and bottles.
