Located 30 minutes from Lisbon on the Portuguese Riviera, Cascais is known as the ‘Charm of the Atlantic Coast.’ With breathtaking beach and ocean views, hiking opportunities through the Sintra-Cascais Natural Park, an old town steeped in history and the nearby fairytale palaces of Sintra, there are endless experiences here.
One of the key highlights of Cascais is the events that they host each year. This summer will see the 20th edition of the Ageas CoolJazz Festival return to Cascais, with some very special live music taking place throughout the whole of July. Previous years of the festival have seen the likes jazz titans such as John Legend, Van Morrison, Lionel Richie and Norah Jones performing at the sunny Hipódromo Manuel Possolo stage, and 2024’s lineup is just as impressive.
Between 9th July and 31st July, CoolJazz will host seven evenings of incredible music, with the following artists currently announced to headline:

The festival consists of 3 music sets per night, starting with the Cascais Jazz Sessions by Smooth FM and closing with the headliners on the main stage. The evenings will end with a DJ set so that the dancing can continue.
