Vegfest Free to Bring the UK’s Biggest Free Vegan Festival to Birmingham in Spring 2026

170 vegan stalls, live music, leading speakers and backing from Heather Mills ……. all free to the public

Birmingham will host the UK’s largest free vegan festival next spring as Vegfest Free arrives at Edgbaston Cricket Ground on Saturday 25 April 2026, opening its doors to thousands of people curious about plant-based living.

With up to 170 fully vegan stalls, live music, family-friendly activities and more than 30 speakers, Vegfest Free is designed to bring together the established vegan community and those exploring plant-based lifestyles for the very first time, without cost being a barrier.

At a time when independent ethical businesses, charities and grassroots campaigners are facing unprecedented pressures, Vegfest Free is taking a bold, new approach.

Entry is completely free to the public and up to 64 independent traders, small charities and community organisations will receive free stalls and marketing support in a show of collective solidarity.

The event is supported by ethical businesses and individuals including vegan pizza specialists One Planet Pizza, with Heather Mills and her new vegan food brand No Bloat stepping forward as Show Sponsor.

Heather says:

“Now more than ever it is time to support each other and work together within the broader vegan community. Vegfest Free presents a unique opportunity to stand alongside independent organisations while introducing thousands of people to the benefits of vegan lifestyles.”

Visitors can expect a vibrant inner-city festival atmosphere featuring:

• Vegan street food and artisan producers
• New plant-based product launches
• Vegan body care, fashion and accessories
• Talks, panels and presentations covering health, lifestyle, ethics and the environment
• Live music and entertainment across indoor and outdoor stages

The event is family-friendly, inclusive and open to everyone, whether vegan, plant-curious or simply looking for a great day out.

Vegfest Free is also supported by a national crowdfunder and a growing volunteer promotion team, reflecting a people-powered response to the challenges facing ethical independents across the UK.

Organiser Tim Barford of VegfestUK says:

“When communities come together, it creates energy, hope and momentum. Vegfest Free is about standing together, supporting independents and welcoming new people into a compassionate, inclusive movement.”

VegfestUK has been organising major vegan events across the UK for over 23 years, including Bristol, Brighton, Glasgow and London. Vegfest Free marks the organisation’s first major Midlands event and a return to its grassroots roots of accessible, community-led festivals.

Vegfest Free is organised by VegfestUK, sponsored by No Bloat and One Planet Pizza, and supported by a number of notable organisations including:

Plant Based Health Professionals UK, Just Be Kind Dog & Cat Food, Vegan Accountants, Mad Promotions PR, Yaoh Hemp Products and Vegan Business Mastermind

No Bloat

No Bloat is a new food range created by Heather Mills. ''Frustrated by the confusion and misinformation around digestive health including the possibility of losing my own colon, I set out to find real solutions.

I created No Bloat to cut through the noise, save others years of trial and error, and help people reclaim a truly healthy life. No Bloat is micro-dosed, precision, clean, gut-friendly food and is backed by Monash University and Functional Gut Clinic, so you can eat with confidence.’’ www.nobloat.com
