Mitchell & Brown launches updated Simply Plus Big Button TV Remote, continuing focus on accessible, easy-to-use TV control

7th May 2026, UK – Mitchell & Brown has unveiled its Simply Plus Big Button TV Remote, the latest evolution of its widely adopted accessible remote control range designed to make everyday TV viewing simpler, clearer, and more intuitive for all users.

Building on the success of its original Big Button Remote Control, the Simply Plus version retains the brand’s core philosophy of effortless “point-and-go” operation, while introducing a refined design and improved usability based on ongoing retailer and customer feedback.

The Simply Plus Big Button TV Remote requires no programming when purchased with a Mitchell & Brown TV, meaning no setup codes, and no IR learning for Mitchell & Brown TVs, working straight out of the box. It is fully compatible with TiVo and Freely models with direct channel number access and quick access smart buttons. The remote control can also be reprogrammed to work with a wide range of other TV brands, such as Samsung, LG, Sony, and Panasonic, covering most TVs produced in the last two decades.

Designed with accessibility at its core, the remote features large, high-contrast, raised buttons for essential functions including volume, channel selection, power, mute, and menu navigation. The ergonomic curved body has been shaped to sit comfortably in the hand, with key controls positioned for natural thumb access.
