Van security and courier fleet compliance specialist, HH Driveright, used the CV Show 2022 as the platform from which to launch a compelling package of DSP products and services, that are the ideal solutions for what HHD is calling the ‘Vandemic’.
According to the Yorkshire-based business, whose passion is to make van safety and security affordable for all, the ‘Vandemic’ is distinguished by three things.
Firstly, there is a pandemic boom in the courier market that has put more couriers and vans on the road than ever before, with new and lesser-experienced drivers continually having to be recruited, to cope with delivery demand and the ever-increasing pressures to make deliveries speedier.
Secondly, there is the rising incidence of van theft – already up by 45% since 2015[1] and likely to rise in a time when we are experiencing a cost of living crisis, inflation at a 40-year high and police warnings that we are on the brink of a crime wave.
Thirdly, there is the increasing cost of both insurance and vehicle repair costs, driven by both a hard insurance market for the first time in very many years and the increasing costs of labour and vehicle parts.
HH Driveright will be unveiling a solution for all three Vandemic issues, as follows:
The HH Drive Right GM 2020 – the “Mission Impossible” device that gives a driver 10 seconds to go back and take their keys out of the ignition, before immobilising the vehicle, so as to stop watching thieves in their tracks.
The HH Drive Right App Track Protect – the complete fleet management system that keeps drivers and their fleet manager on their toes with their compliance, maintenance and permissions’ checking, whilst also ensuring they slash their first notification of loss (FNOL) reporting timescales, to keep their insurance premiums under control.
The HH Driveright Repair Centres AI ‘Eye’ Damage Capture – a cutting-edge, artificial intelligence solution set to revolutionise the examination and reporting of vehicle damage and defects, by reporting on vehicle condition, interior and exterior, in the blink of an eye and the capture of 40 videos.
HH Driveright managing director, Rebecca Hall, says, “We have leveraged our position and experience earned at the forefront of the courier fleet market, to analyse all the pain points courier fleet managers suffer, both on the road and in terms of their insurance, risk management and compliance. Our knowledge has then been channelled into creating these three industry-leading solutions that are the future of van fleet security and compliance, delivered here and now.
“We are delighted to be able to showcase all three of our star products at the CV Show 2022, demonstrating how we can not only change the risk and compliance experience of every van fleet in Britain, but additionally do so at a highly affordable cost that makes take-up a no-brainer.”
