Head to the Lake District this summer and you will find a fabulous new patisserie at which to grab those home-baked breads and delicious cakes and bakes that can create such great memories on your Cumbrian picnic, or back at your self-catering accommodation.

The new Levens Bakery, at Levens Hall and Gardens in the South Lakes, near Kendal, home to the world's oldest topiary garden, is also a place to which to make a beeline, if you are a lover of all things sweet, or an aficionado of amazing and unusual breads.

Furthermore, it will give you the opportunity to sample the range of delights concocted by two of the stars of ‘Bake Off: The Professionals’ 2022 – Robert Stacey and Mireia Ferreres Luna.

With Levens Bakery set to open at some point in June 2023, there will be plenty of summer holiday treats for you and the family to indulge in, as you drink in the stunning views of the Lakeland Fells.  Open all-year-round, its baked goods will reflect the seasons, ensuring there’s always something to make the mouth water.

And don’t despair if you will just be passing the door, heading further north to Scotland or down to the south of England, as Levens Bakery is located just a very short drive from the M6 junction 36 and could provide you with a brilliant pit-stop at which to have a bite to eat, before continuing your journey.
