Calming energy and statement good looks combine in a new collection from wood flooring experts Woodpecker Flooring.
Introducing Stonehaven.
Inspired by the organic beauty of the British coastline, Stonehaven has an ethereal feel.
Its subtle shades and the wood’s natural grain offer an element of laidback luxury which belie its competitive price point, while its tongue and groove locking joints ensure its durability for years to come.
Darwyn Ker, Managing Director of family-run Woodpecker Flooring, said: “We have put an incredible amount of work into Stonehaven. We wanted to create a board that works quietly in the background to set the tone for the rest of the room.
“It isn’t loud or attention seeking. Instead, it offers a subtle beauty that brings harmony to any space to create a very relaxed, serene environment.
“It is a stunning range around which to build the rest of the home’s décor.”
Stonehaven is available in six finishes, from the delicate silver-grey of Stonehaven Strait Oak to the brooding cherry tones of Stonehaven Brook Oak.
Stonehaven Wisp Oak offers a golden hue while Stonehaven Amaretti Oak gives a hint of caramel. Stonehaven Rustic Oak and Stonehaven Stream Oak both allow the natural tones of the wood to radiate, bringing tranquillity and charm.
Darwyn added: “Stonehaven is a collection that ticks all the right boxes. It’s competitively priced without compromising on any of the quality and detail that is expected with a Woodpecker floor.”
Like all engineered wood products from Woodpecker Flooring, Stonehaven comes with a 100-year warranty.
The new Stonehaven collection of engineered wood flooring is available now from Woodpecker Flooring, with prices starting at £65 per m2.

ABOUT WOODPECKER FLOORING
Woodpecker is a family-run business with a heritage in the timber industry that goes back three generations.
Founded nearly 50 years ago by Bruce Ker, a skilled craftsman who loved teaching people how to work with wood, the Woodpecker tradition is continued today by his son Nelson and grandson Darwyn.
Since the very beginning, Woodpecker have been passionate about designing and sourcing the finest wooden floors.
Their dedication starts in the forest. Woodpecker only use responsibly sourced wood with full FSC® or PEFC certifications, selecting the trees before they are felled and paying close attention to how they are sawn, stacked and dried.
The dry wood is then kilned twice for maximum stability before being machined. Centuries-old hand-finishing techniques - such as lacquering, oiling and antiquing the wood - further enhance its natural beauty.
It’s fair to say, nobody knows or cares more about wood than Woodpecker.
Headquartered in Caerphilly, Woodpecker currently offer over 100 flooring options in real wood, engineered wood and wood design which retail online and at nationwide stockists.
