The Weather Heats Up Outdoor Hospitality AV as Venues Prepare for Summer of Sport

Bolton, UK, June 2026 - Rising demand for outdoor entertainment spaces and the early start to the UK beer garden season are driving strong sales of outdoor AV, says TVC Technology Solutions. The Bolton based integrator announced its exclusive range of outvue outdoor displays in April and all three models are now in stock in time for the summer’s packed sporting calendar that will drive customer footfall (UK weather willing!)

TVC is already reporting strong demand across its full outvue outdoor display range with outdoor environments such as pubs, clubs, hotels and hospitality venues prepare for what is expected to be one of the busiest outdoor entertainment seasons in recent years. Combined with soaring average UK temperatures and the May bank-holiday’s unseasonal 30+ degree heat, venues across the UK are increasingly investing in premium outdoor AV experiences to maximise footfall, increase dwell time and capitalise on the huge commercial opportunity presented by the upcoming summer of sport.

Chris Whitlock, Technical Director at TVC Technology Solutions, commented, “The recent hot weather has really kickstarted outdoor hospitality trading much earlier than many venues expected, catching many with their beer gardens and outdoor spaced still mothballed from winter! With a huge summer of sport, including the World Cup’s perfectly timed evening matches, just around the corner there has never been a better time for pubs, clubs and hospitality venues to upgrade their outdoor entertainment offering.”

TVC’s new outvue models are unique in that they do not require an enclosure, offering IP66 ingress protection out of box. Available in 55”, 65” and 75” screen sizes, outvue displays are purpose-built for outdoor environments, eliminating the compromises installers and venues have historically faced when attempting to adapt indoor TVs for external use.

Fully waterproof and dustproof to IP66, impact certified to IK10, and delivering an ultra-bright 3000 Nit output for daytime visibility with exceptionally wide viewing angles, the outvue range offer spectacular increases in performance and venue aesthetics over TVs in an enclosure. No condensation, no bulky enclosures, no hazy plastic screens and no parallax aberrations for customers sitting off axis. The outvue range is purpose designed to thrive in demanding commercial hospitality environments including pubs, bars, clubs, holiday parks and hotel terraces.

“Customers increasingly expect a high-quality viewing experience wherever they choose to sit, and venues that fail to invest in outdoor AV risk missing a huge commercial opportunity this summer. We’re seeing strong demand across all three outvue sizes as operators look to make their outdoor spaces just as engaging and profitable as their indoor areas,” Adds Chris.

Each outvue display features full 4K UHD resolution, anti-glare tempered glass and ultra-wide 170-degree viewing angles, ensuring vibrant visibility even in bright daytime conditions. Integrated ambient light sensors automatically adjust screen brightness depending on surrounding conditions, helping optimise both viewing performance and energy efficiency throughout the day and evening.

For installers, the displays also simplify deployment thanks to standard VESA 400 x 400 mounting compatibility alongside HDMI and USB connectivity for straightforward integration with broadcast TV systems, streaming platforms and digital signage content.

As the weather ensures hospitality venues are increasingly focused on outdoor trading and maximising revenue opportunities during major sporting events, TVC believes purpose-built outdoor AV solutions are rapidly shifting from luxury upgrade to commercial necessity.
