Codelocks unveils new Magnetic Latch

Chatswood, NSW, 21 January 2026 -- Codelocks has launched its Magnetic Latch, the latest addition to the Gate Solutions by Codelocks range, delivering locksmiths and property managers a comprehensive metal gate access control solution purpose-built for the Australian domestic gate market. It combines an Australian Made* magnetic latch with Codelocks' proven CL200 and CL400 Marine Grade mechanical locks in complete, ready-to-install bundles.

The magnetic latch is constructed from tough glass-filled nylon with stainless steel components and features a corrosion-resistant coated latch bolt. It accommodates both left and right-handed installations and can be mounted to either the gate or post, making it suitable for a wide range of domestic and light commercial applications. The face-fixed design ensures straightforward installation, with all necessary fixings and a comprehensive installation guide included in each bundle.
