In May of 2023, five-star mountain retreat FORESTIS unveiled their new Odles Lodge, the ultimate adults-only chalet situated on the Southern slope of the Plose mountain in South Tyrol, just a few kilometres above FORESTIS.  

The tranquil retreat is now open to guests looking to disconnect and feel grounded in nature. Featuring four distinct lodges, each is meticulously designed by Armin Sader of Assaggio Architects and built with local spruce and Swiss stone pine, to create an atmosphere of calm which frames the panoramic views of the massif of the UNESCO world heritage Dolomites.   

Created with longer stays and lasting relaxation in mind, each lodge is stocked with typical South Tyrolean specialities such as homemade jams, juices, smoked ham, smoked fish and dairy products from local farms. Every day a fresh mountain breakfast is delivered to each lodge so guests can start the day right.  

The new spa at Odles Lodge is available exclusively to guests and includes a communal swimming pool, steam and sauna. Guests can also enjoy the spa facilities and treatments down the road at the FORESTIS spa.

Many environmentally conscious initiatives have been implemented such as energy-efficient design elements to locally sourced materials as well as the using 100% renewable energy, produced by the lodge’s own plant and wood heating system.   

Odles Lodge is perfectly positioned for couples, solo travellers, or group of friends. Whether guests seek adventure, relaxation, or a blend of both, Odles Lodge provides an idyllic base to live independently in the middle of the forest and appreciate the natural wonders that surround it.
