Sip, Savour, and Samba: Hard Rock Cafe's Cinco de Mayo Extravaganza!

London, 22nd April 2024 – As the vibrant festivities of Cinco de Mayo approach, Hard Rock Cafe is thrilled to announce its exclusive limited time offer menu, designed to tantalise your taste buds and ignite the spirit of celebration. Cinco de Mayo means the 5th of May in Spanish, which is when the celebration takes place each year, and commemorates Mexico’s victory over the Second French Empire at the Battle of Puebla in 1862. In more recent times, Cinco de Mayo has become associated with the celebration of Mexican American culture.

From the 2nd to the 8th of May, guests can indulge in an array of mouth-watering dishes and refreshing beverages, perfectly crafted to capture the essence of this festive occasion. 

At the heart of the celebration are Hard Rock Cafe's Jumbo Margaritas, served in their iconic 36oz margarita glasses and available in three fiery flavours, including:

Baja California Blackberry: An enchanting blend of Sauza Gold Tequila, Triple Sec, blackberry syrup, fresh strawberries, blackberries, and house-made margarita mix. Served on the rocks with a sugar rim, this concoction is sure to transport your taste buds to the sunny shores of Baja California. 

Mexico City Mango: Paying homage to the vibrant streets of Mexico City, experience a fusion of flavours with Sauza Gold Tequila, Triple Sec, sambal chili, mango puree, and house-made margarita mix, served with Hard Rock Cafe's Love-All Spice rim.

Cancun Orange Cadillac: Indulge in luxury with Patron Silver Tequila, Cointreau Orange Liqueur, orange juice, house-made margarita mix, and a float of Grand Marnier. Served on the rocks with a salt rim, this cocktail embodies the essence of Cancun's sun-soaked beaches. 

But the celebration doesn't end there, Hard Rock Cafe invites guests to savour the flavours of Mexico with their decadent tequila-marinated chicken fajitas. Infused with a hint of lime and served with fresh Pico de Gallo, roasted corn salad, Monterey Jack and cheddar cheese, house-made guacamole, sour cream, and warm tortillas, this dish promises to be a fiesta for the senses.

And what's a Cinco de Mayo celebration without chips and queso? Hard Rock Cafe's legendary rendition features warm cheese sauce topped with seasoned ground beef, hatch chilis, spring onions, and served with crisp tortilla chips – a perfect accompaniment to the festivities.
