Latest KitLock by Codelocks makes access control even easier

The new KL1000 G3 boasts a streamline design and enhanced features

Codelocks has expanded its KitLock range with a new keyless access control solution for storage cabinets and lockers.

The KL1000 G3 comes with all the popular features of the KL1000 Classic Plus including Private and Public Functions, 24hr auto-unlock countdown timer in Public Function and up to 20 User Codes in Private Function. As the KL1000 G3 shares the same fittings and fixings, existing KL1000 installations can be easily upgraded and retrofitted.

The new KitLock, enhanced with a key override function, allows key holders to access the locker in the event of a forgotten code or emergency, increasing flexibility for managers, staff, and guests.

Codelocks has simplified the process of changing the batteries too. Like the KL1000 Classic and Classic Plus, the KL1000 G3 has been designed so on-door battery changes can easily be made. The battery compartment can be accessed via the front of the lock. This design feature reduces the time and disruption of changing the batteries.

The KL1000 G3 is a flexible solution, ideal for workplaces, staff rooms, leisure centres and gyms, providing immediate, convenient keypad access without the need for cards and keys.

Customers can choose to add Clean by Codelocks, an optional antibacterial finish which protects against viruses, bacteria, and environmental toxins. The clear coating has been shown to be highly effective at eliminating the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and can reduce bacterial growth by 99.96%*.

The KL1000 G3 comes in two finishes colour – silver chrome and black chrome. The modernised chrome effect back panel and handle finish reflects the locks surroundings –giving it a slimmer, more subtle aesthetic.

It can also be enhanced with the Slam Latch for fast ‘push shut’ closure. It allows locker doors to be instantly locked, with no need to turn the lock handle to secure the locker. Slam Latch works on wooden and steel lockers and cabinets.
